When is a Repair Not a Repair?

When is a repair not a repair – Sometimes we receive parts for evaluation that are not definitely faulty. They might be the prime suspect, but the case isn’t closed. We look carefully at ALL the information, and when a customer tells us that their control board might be causing problems, we like to offer other options to help clarify the situation.

We know how frustrating it can be when the troubleshooting isn’t clear cut. Maybe we have the problem part, but we don’t want to give you a fully refurbished part if it’s only a hunch. In those situations, we can do detailed testing for a small fee to help you decide if repair is the best path. If we have a part that checks out and passes all tests, you can move along in your troubleshooting with that very helpful information.

Once you’ve located the board that’s really borking things up, we’ll be on the case with you.

If you find yourself in the situation of narrowing down the problem with a set of parts, consider working with ACS to track down the solution. Sometimes the path to a solution is just a matter of asking the right question. Tell us what you’re wondering about. Ask us for a detailed testing report if you need technical findings to make your case.
